chasing at 75 to stay on the end of the line both mornings. Saw 80 once. Why does everybody drive so fast. May have been a slight under fill as the mpg came out higher than expected with the highish average speed. Includes 10 miles of errands which helps. That type of 40mph riding gives low 90's.

Last 1/4 of my 260 mile trip plus an 80 mile sport ride in a group and one commute. Went deep into the tank. The last bar blinked on to give me 30 miles before flashing into reserve. .8 gallons left when the fuel display changes from two bars to one? Economy was a little lower with the Hess fuel? went back to Sunoco.

3/4 of my 260 mile day trip to the World Cup mountain bike race at Windham, NY. Mix of back roads and interstate highway. strong head wind on the way home or it would have been even higher. Great racers, race course, and perfect skies. Hope they come back next year.

Near perfect run in the morning but cool at 45F. 64 mph. One abrupt stop light. Hit every red light on the way home but clear and hot at 85F. 63 mph. Second tank on Mobil 1 4T 10W40 and both were back to back 90mpg (the slow sport tour) which pretty much eliminates any conjecture about fill inaccuracies acounting for the high numbers. Is Mobil 1 good for a 4% increase?

Fast in the morning. Easy ride home at 62-65 mph and stopped by the bank. Changed to Mobil 1 4T 10W40 at mid day. The swarf in the old oil was ridiculous!

Still with trunk bag. Near perfect run in the morning but cool at 55F. A little slower at 61-65 mph. The ride home could be bettered some day but it too was slower. Nothing over 70 mph.
