3 oz PS White. This March has been much cooler than last year. No snow events on this tank, but grey, NW winds, and most days do not reach 50 degrees. Again got 3 weeks out of a tank. Price of regular unleaded has stayed around $3.80.

Jan 19 2013

Certified on Harmon. 3 oz PS White. There have been some pretty wide temp swings during the period (66 degrees and humid 7 days ago with half a tank, a few days before that it was 15 degrees, and we had quite a bit of snow after Christmas. It's 40 today and it will be single digit cold in two days). Regular unleaded has been around $3.05 and diesel around $3.99 during the past month.

Certified on Harmon. 4 oz PSW. Last fill up was exactly 4 weeks ago (two tanks in past 8 weeks). Couple of snowy drives that included traffic jams. Unleaded went below $3 for a while. Today it is $3.39.

Nov 29 2012

Certified on Harmon. 3 oz PSW. November has been a little cooler than normal, dry, some really nice days. This is exactly 4 weeks since last fill-up (laying-low during the 4 day holiday helped the tank last this long). I have been trying for fuel efficiency during the entire tank. Regular unleaded is $3.41 today.

Nov 1 2012

Certified on Harmon. 3 oz PS white. Lots of rain, wind, and cold over the past 4 days (hurricane Sandy) has resulted in some bad MPG trips to work. Same late-fall price trend with diesel again. Gas prices go down to entice Christmas spending, but diesel stays high it's time to fill-up home heating oil tanks.

Oct 11 2012

Certified on Harmon. 3 oz PS White (past tank got nothing as I weaned AmSoil Diesel Concentrate). Price of regular gas today is 3.71, so I am on par with the cost of high test. Have had several frosty mornings during the past week. Noticed the effect of the cold as I continued to target fuel economy through-out this tank consumption.

about 39 degrees this morning and tomorrow wiill be close to 80, so I filled to avoid air space in fuel tank that could aid water-condensation. Added no Amsoil and will purge until returning to the P.S. White.

Certified on Harmon. Added 3 oz Amsoil Diesel Concentrate to this 12.3 gallons (so a little too much stuff). Could have easily clocked 600 miles on this tank, but wanted to fill before Friday of the Labor Day holiday. Fuel prices just spiked two days ago and regular unleaded is selling for $3.95.

Certified on Harmon closes before 5:00pm on Saturdays. Went straight there after work today. 598 miles on this tank. Added 3 oz Amsoil Concentrate. Price of regular unleaded today is the same price as this diesel, so today I beat the Jeep's fuel-up cost big time (when factoring the Jeep's need for hi-octane fuel).

Certified on Harmon. Last full tank got no fuel treatment, and this tank received barely over 2 oz of Amsoil Diesel Concentrate (used PS White during the winter and spring, and I haven't used Amsoil since last summer). Purchased car almost exactly one year ago and it looks and runs great.

Jun 26 2012

bought 3 gallons at the Turkey Hill on 6/22 (20 cents less there) and then finally filled up at the Certified on Harmon today (put 14.323 gallons in the tank today and the "range" display showed I could have only driven another 5 miles before running out of fuel completely, so this is the lowest I have ever drawn down the tank). Added no fuel treatment on this fill up and may switch back to Amsoil on the next fill-up.

13.266 gallons today from the Certified on Harmon combined with 3.5 gallons purchased on Memorial Day Monday at the Turkey Hill on S. High St. Added 1 oz PS White then, and another 3.5 oz today. Car ran good on Turkey Hill stuff and even squealed tires during a hard acceleration in 1st gear.

Certified on Harmon. Unusually warm weather continues, so good MPG has come too. I have continued to try to drive for fuel efficiency. Lots of 5th gear 55-60mph drives to work. The car computer told me that I could have reached for 600 miles on this tank, but I am not into that game. Added 4 oz PS.

Feb 23 2012

Certified on Harmon. Took another jar sample and this time it was much greener than the sample from 17 days ago (maybe the fuel distributor's winter additive makes the fuel look less green and today's purchase is becoming more of a warm-weather mix). Added 3 oz of PS White. During most of the cold weather, I make my work commutes in 5th gear around 60 mph.

Feb 6 2012

Certified on Harmon. Just gone below half a tank again. The weather has been warm in the day and cool at night, so again I re-filled in hope of reducing possible condensation by reducing air-space in the tank. Took a jar sample, fuel was really clear looking. Added 4 oz PS White (first time using this water-dispersant stuff, but the color looks very much like the Amsoil Concentrate which is a water-separator).

Jan 23 2012

Certified on Harmon. Re-filled at 1/2 tank to avoid condensation env (probably too late since it was 9 deg a few days ago, & near 60 deg today). Second time in a row of no conditioner & of topping-off at 1/2 tank mark. So the Amsoil Diesel Concentrate (water/fuel separater)should be mostly diluted out, & my next fuelup will include PS White (water dispersant). A Windex spray-bottle in the trunk had heavy exterior condensation, so I probably should have added the PS today.

Jan 5 2012

Certified on Harmon. I filled up before I really needed to because it has been pretty cold for a few days (highs in the 20's yesterday and day before), but it is supposed to warm up, so I want to avoid temp change on a mostly empty fuel tank. Added no Amsoil and will do some PS for the first time on next fuel add.

Dec 21 2011

Certified on Harmon. There has been one brief period of cold weather that froze the surface of the ground for a couple of days, but for the most part it has been warmer than normal and rains! Added 2 oz. Gasoline prices have been low for more than a month (typically around $3.10/gal), but diesel's relation to heating oil has helped keep the price of diesel almost a dollar more.

This Certified fuel-up is combined with addition made during roadtrip (eastbound on PA turnpike, topped-off half an existing tank w/ 7.5 gallons of 7% biodiesel making a nice 3.5% bio tank-mix). Downhill/downwind going there. Coming back, drove mostly 75-80mph with some long 80-90% throttles in 5th gear while climbing PA mountains (probably excellent engine break-in). Added 2 oz

Oct 28 2011

this is the combination of a total fill-up today, added to 8 gallons that I purchased during my trip to Oscoda, MI (5 gallons of Citgo brand purchased at a T/A truckstop was stated to contain between 5 and 20% biodiesel). Went to work today, then totally filled-up the tank with this 11 gallons from Certified on Harmon (2 oz too). I had the wind behind me for much of this fishing-trip (going up, and coming back).

Certified on Harmon and 2 oz this time (so I am really close to a full strength dose). Certified closes at 8:00 PM and is not open on Sundays. They typically receive fuel every 2 days in the evening after they close. The past tank included several 100% throttle events including 105mph in 5th gear (I was too afraid to take my eyes off of the road to glance at the tachometer).
