Again using 10% ethanol product because of the price per gallon difference between it and non-ethanol. DISAPPOINTING Worst MPG to date since purchasing the car!!!!!

General Driving. No Interstates. Majority short trips of 55 miles or less. This MPG was on 100% non-ethanol fuel. Had to fill up with 10% ethanol this time due to 20 cents/gal lower price than non-ethanol @ Holtzman. Very disappointing MPG (40.3) result on this fuel-up.

Added 16oz Chevron FI cleaner. General driving, no interstate highways, mild to cool temperatures. Worst ever fuel economy on this tank of fuel, a mix of 10% ethanol and non-ethanol gasoline.

Nov 14 2012

Last full tank of 10% ethanol gas for trial. Lower MPG as expected but temperatures are also lower causing gasoline engine to run more often. Each full tank of 10% ethanol resulted in lower MPG. Filled with 100% gasoline (non ethanol) for remainder of winter season.

45% Interstate highways. Temperatures 30-50 degrees each day. All driving in ECO mode. 10% ethanol gasoline used. Beginning to trend a noticeably reduced MPG with cooler weather and 10% ethanol gasoline.

After "first" fill up by Toyota dealer. Unknown if tank was really full or not. Dealer used 10% ethanol fuel. I filled up with pure gasoline/non-ethanol.
