World Oil Santa Monica after driving 60 mph on US 101 from Santa Cruz. The car's dashboard said >37 mpg through San Luis Obispo, then a lunch stop, more hills, and an hour of stop and go traffic drove the average down. An experiment to show slowing down a bit boosts fuel economy. Next I'll try 55 mph, the speed limit when towing. Then, I hope, 55 mph with a travel trailer. End odometer 76,020.
