Car is running great. This is my first tank with the Liqui Moly 5w-50 Molygen. Pretty good mpg's considering it is a 50wt. oil and we're on winter gas now. The oil seems good - nice and quiet. (but, was good before too) Still undecided if I'll put in the Camguard - waiting for the Blackstone oil report to see if the Camguard did anything last time around.

Changed the oil today at 70k. Put in Liqui Moly 5w50 and will see how that goes. Did not add the Camguard this time. Drained out exactly 9 qts. The car didn't use a drop in 5800 miles. I put in 8 qts. so that level wouldn't go to full. Will check it after a few drive cycles and add if needed. Car runs great, mpg's are good.

Car is running good! Added 3 gal. camper gas this tank and a small bottle of Lucas. I have injectors, coils, plugs, low-temp t-stat, and new G40 all waiting to go in the car. Also a oil change will be in order in about 800 miles. May try some 5w-50 to see how it performs. Still thinking about it.

The car is running good. The 85 octane with the Lucas seems to work just fine. This tank was mostly the usual rural trips between here and Wellington at speed limits. The Coco mat on the rear shelf fits great. No issues at all! I have a low-temp T-Stat, and new coils ready to install. Don't need them - just preventative maintenance.

Car is running good. This tank was the 87 octane Valero w/o the Lucas. Seems about the same as the 85 w/Lucas. Car ran the same. No hard driving at all. Discovered that the Lazer wash will chip the left side wheels if I roll back at all in the dryer. Also, try to stay to the right to keep wheels away from the big roller.

Car is running good! Mpg's have been good on the 85 octane with the Sea Foam. The 911 takes 93 RON which is 89 AKI (US). At altitude, the next lower is recommended...87. Trying it this tank without the Sea Foam. Top Tier and recommended octane - will see how it compares. The 87 is $.40 higher than the 85. Orderred a new carport yesterday so I can wash the cars without so much dust and tree litter. ~2 months out.

Car is running good. New Momo steering wheel is installed. Tried several methods to turn off airbag light and no luck. Resistors didn't work - 2.4 or 3.5ohm no work. Bought new Icarsoft scan tool and it won't turn off the light. Love the new wheel though! Ordered a new 160 t-stat from FCP. Maybe some day I'll install it!

Car is running great. Put new Momo wheel on yesterday. Could not center it but will try again. All hooked up as on Rennlist but the airbag light is still on. Will try to have Brandon clear it. The wheel, being smaller diameter that my OE wheel blocks the top of the tach. Not sure I want to live with it like this. Otherwise, nice wheel.

This was all trip to Des Moines and back. 80-85 mph with the roof rack and basket on the car. Will try to avoid the roof carrier from now on but no promises. The car ran great. Used the Sea Foam all the way. Tank #2 fill in DM was Ethanol free and it was the worst mpg's. No engine knock at all on all of the gas and it was all the lowest octane available.

Car is running good. Changed the oil this weekend. 64,800 miles. 5800 on the oil. Waiting for oil test results. Put in Mobil 1 0w40 with 16 oz of ASL Camguard. 8.5 qts. total read one mark low on the gauge so added another .5 qts. So...9 qts. total to full mark on gauge. The new Fuchs wheels ride great - much better than the OE Carrera Classic wheels.

Car is running good. Oil pump vac line (brake booster vac line?) collapsed after replacing with a silicone line. Cut some off to make the bend more gradual but it looks like I may have to R&R the entire 3 section line. FCP=$82! Put the new Fuchs wheels on with the 17mm spacers on the rears. The offset on the fronts was 50 instead of the OE 57 and all the wheels now fill the wheel wells nicely. And, the ride quality of the Fuchs is suprisingly better due to more rim contact with the hub. Very nice upgrade!

The car is running well. Added the sea foam bottle this tank. Replaced the oil pump(?) vacuum line behind the air cleaner box. Installed the new RS engine mounts. Used 1/2"x5" grade 8 bolts with hardware and then a thin jam nylock nut up to the reg nuts. Solid install and they are working well. Bit more noise and vibration at some revs but not bad. Cold shifts seem better a bit. Had the Wincos window tint installed for UV's and heat. Will go again to get the windshield done. Looks good, minimal tint darkening. Installed the poly mounts to the front struts to act as bump stops and hold the bellows up. Need to pick out the old rotten bump stops next time car is in the air so that the new don't bottom out as easily.

Car is running good. Drove with Larry and his Corvette today out to Rockport and he says the lower middle rear lights flicker on hwy. This is the light with the reflector lens and I am not sure he wasn't just seeing the sun light them up. First, only happened northbound and each light was independent of the other. Then west bound on Nunn road he said that only one time did they do it but that they were both lit at the same time. I'm going to have to look into this mystery! Getting window tint next Friday on the rear window and the rear 1/4's. If I like it, will do the front 1/2 of the car. Might install the RS motor mounts this weekend. Added a bottle of the WM SuperTech this tank.

Car is running great. Put the SeaFoam small bottle in this new tank. The last tank had the small bottle of the WM brand - tech something. This tank mpg's is good as almost all cruising ~2500 rpm. New Fuchs wheels on order! New motor mounts on order...maybe.

Car is running good. Ordered ASL Camguard for oil, bought SeaFoam for gas, ordered some spare parts to carry, putting together a tool kit. Need to re-do the mat in the back for the dogs. Need to look at the antenna connection into the windshield as reception is sketchy up the Poudre. So far, so good.

The car is running good on the 85 octane. Got the small dent fixed by Matt. Set up the rear seat area for the dogs. Ed Carroll did alignment and programmed a second key. Alignment done for straight roads. Handling very well now. Grill screens are on. Brandon: every now and then run to high revs to clear carbon. I need to look into this further...

The car is running good. This tank includes 5 gal. added mid-tank. I found 2 good steering wheel covers and a set of grill screens. Going to build a board for the center console. Car goes in to Porsche on Friday to get the new key programmed and an alignment. BTW...the 85 octane seems just fine for this altitude - no knock at all and the engine sounds and runs great.

Dec 22 2020

The car is running good. I did the new front brakes and rotors and changed the trans. oil. Checked air filter and cleaned the throttle body and the MAF. Ordered a new key from the dealer. The clear mask is complete. The front fenders have had the paint and clear coat corrected. I washed and applied Hybrid Ceramic yesterday. From dealer: this car never had a radio code. Good to know! Nobody thinks 17" wheels will work so will give up on that. May do alignment when I take in to have new key programmed. Make a list.

Nov 25 2020

The car is running great. This was my first full fillup, but I reset the PCM halfway through by mistake so don't have the exact miles. I filled up 8 miles into the reserve after the light came on, so it does look like the reserve tank is 2.6 gal when the light comes on (16.9 - 14.3 = 2.6). Good to know. I got new tires. I have new touch up paint so Friday 11/27 I will get the small dent fixed and the chips painted by Matt at "Precision PDR" a dent removal place. Then, into the clear bra place to get that done. Bought new QuickJacks so new gear oil and front brakes are coming up. Cleaned all the leather and steering wheel and that turned out good. This tank I will see if it runs without knocking on 85 octane (regular).

This is the first fuel up at about the half tank point. Mostly interstate ~80mph. Added a can of 44k and the fuel is 85 octane added to the half tank of premium (91 octane), for a net of 88 octane. We'll see how it does on 88 and will try 85 next tank.
