Car is running great. New air filter (Hengst) a couple of weeks ago. And new Denso cabin filter. Tried without cabin filter for a drive and no improvement in air flow inside w/o fan on. The warmer ambient temps are good for "warm up" fuel economy. Maybe by about 10%!

Car is running good. Changed the air filter (Hengst), cabin filter (Denso), and washed the car last weekend. No issues! May experiment with removing the cabin filter just to see if air flow improves. If so, maybe make a porous foam filter of some kind to get more air into the cabin.

Car is running good! Installed the new passenger door speaker this week. All went well - no rattles now. The foam was all torn out on the old one just like on the driver door speaker.

Car is running good. Front end creeks after washing. Need to get it up on the rack when the weather looks up. Also, still need to R&R passenger door card to inst. new speaker. The free rear tires turned out to be front tires so no sale!

Car is running great. Put 8oz. of Camguard in the oil just to be safe. Using the Liquid Performance in the fuel now and all seems good. No issues at all!

Car is running great. This is the first tank with the Evolve oil 0w-40 and the Liquid Performance ethanol / fuel treatment. With that, the car has no knock and the 'notch' at about 2700 rpm's seems gone. Hard to say, but I think the oil and fuel treatment are a very good combo. With winter gas, noticably better mpg's with the Evolve oil.

Car is running good. I insulated the driver door speaker today to seal the gap around it and keep the cold out. Also replaced the 2 broken panel clips. It went well and I'll get to the passenger door soon. I changed the oil last week. Put in the Evolve EvoSyn 0w-40 all veg oil. Seems good. Oil temps MIGHT be 5-10 degrees higher but can't say for sure. Evolve is supposed to conduct heat better whatever that means! I did not use any Camgaurd. Also looking for better engine lube and mpg's so we'll see. The next oil test should be quite interesting. 7.5 qts. came out and I put 6 qts. in and it reads at the 3rd line down which is right where I want it. The math doesn't quite work but I'll just start with 6 qts. from now on.

Car is running good. Put a new driver door latch in last week. Had lubed it and the oil must have shorted something out. Tough job but it went well and now the latch works good. Washed the car today. I've been playing with programming with the Foxwell scan tool. I now have side markers that flash with the turns, daytime headlights, and fixed rear spoiler.

I also replaced the blown woofer in the door w/ new Alpine 6.5" speaker in place of the 8" (7.5?) that came with the car. It sounds good. Had to modify the install w/ clips I made. The latch install was a brutal job made doable on the UK911.com site. Jonttt did an awesome write up. I could not get the new Vemo (RA) latch electric socket to "click" when plugged in, so if I lose electrics, that's why! A 3 hour job took me 3 days stopping and starting. Very frustrating but very satisfying to have done it. Saved thousands!

The automatic window lowering feature was not working after I lubed the drivers side door latch. Driver courtesy lights were not working either when the door was open. Door open, no lights and window would go up meaning I had to either keep handle "open" or window down a bit when closing the door. Internet says: "bad door latch". So, R&R'd the latch and all is now well.

Car is running good. This tank is winter gas. Put on the new B6 front struts last week. They are great. Car drives better and is more stable in cross winds. The install went fine and I think I have the camber right on. I put in a new Duracell #49 no maint wet cell battery this Sat. It had good specs and was 20% off. Not an AGM but may be better. I need to lube all hinges and reprogram the door opener. Otherwise, all's good.

This was the total trip to DM and back. Car ran great. Winds cooperated. Drove speed limit the whole way. Lowest octane available with the Lucas additive. No issues. Hit a deer part (ribs?) on the way back. No damage that I've found but I need to get under the car and check the panels. May have a crack.

This tank included 260 miles up to Saratoga and back. I added 5 gal when I got home which is why the miles and gallons are higher. Car ran great! No issues at all presently.

Car is running good. 85 this tank, 85 fill at station. Heading out on the PCA trip to Saratoga, Wy. Thurs. AM for the day and Friday return. Aired up and ready to go.

Car is running great. Love the LTT as engine runs 20 degrees cooler. Had breakfast this morning with the local PCA folks. This tank is 85 as well as the new tank. Can't see any difference with the 87.

Car is running great. R&R the t-stat and water pump this week. Put in a low temp Borg-Warner t-stat and a Graf pump with the metal impeller. Both from FCP Euro so life warranty. 4.5 gal Zerex G40 plus 2 bottles Redline water wetter. Tried to get more out but no go. The job was a bear - especially the bolt on the pump at 2:00. Needed more 1/4" short ratchet attachments. The car's temps are 20 degrees lower across the board. Love the t-stat and the 50wt. oil seem just fine together. My oil temps are lower too.

Car is running good. This tank had 87 and I put in 85 today. I changed the oil 8/1. Molygen 5w-50. Put in 8 qts (including the 16oz. Camgard) and the gauge read too full. Took out 16oz by r&r the filter...still too full. Took out another 16oz. and now I'm to the 2nd line where I want to be. Changed the instructions to only put in 7 qts (not 8) and then check after a few drive cycles. No idea why it was different this time unless I miss counted the qts.???

Car is running good. Minimal city miles this tank. This report is 87, and put 87 in. Hwy 1 to Wellington is being rebuilt so alt. routes are in my future until Nov. 22.

Car is running good. This tank was 85. I put 87 in today. The prefilter I put over the intake is working and fits fine. Put the Porsche side stickers on this week. Looks pretty good. Oil change is coming up in 500 miles. The new radiator screens are on and do a great job keeping crap out of the rad cowls. They don't seem to affect the temps at all - 193 on the scangauge before, 193 after screens added. The old metal screens are also in place.

Car is running great. A bit more city than usual. This tank is 85. I put the antenna on the rear spoiler yesterday. I put the prefilter on the air intake. I took the new radiator screens to Deb for the sewing. Many grasshoppers are clogging up the rad screens and I am hoping that the new screens that go OVER the openings will keep things cleaner.

Car is running great. This tank had 87 in it and looks like good mpg's though very little town driving so that may explain it. This fill is back to 85. We'll see! We might be on summer gas now so mpg's should be good.

Car is running good. The gas I put in today is 87 - up from the usual 85. Also used the Lucas. Took out the plug for the resonator in the air cleaner as I didn't see any difference and might as well have the car stock again.

Car is running great. The first 120 miles was to Erie and back. Some in town, most rural as usual. Washed the car today. May put the OE engine mounts back on and see how it drives. The RS mounts on now are good. Just want to compare.

Car is running great. Drove to Erie and back Th. night (on new tank) for a Porsche meetup and got 32 mpg down and 28mpg back. Very nice for Interstate speeds (75+).

Car is running great. This tank was the first with new coils and irridium plugs. Typical driving. Got a P1486 code last week "fuel tank gas leak". I looked at the gas cap and the gasket is shot so that seems to be the cause. New cap coming tomorrow. Car is dusty and needs a wash.

Car is running great. R&R coils and plugs last week just for PM. Bremi coils (24mo. warranty) and Denso Irridium plugs. Had to remove the ex. manifold on the right bank to get to #4 cylinder. Tight access but the job went fine.

Car is running good. Typical driving this tank. Plugged resonator to see if sound changes. Can't tell. Installed a charger hub to keep wires out of the footwell.

Car is running great. This tank was without regard to trying to maximize mpg's. I just drove normal but didn't worry about higher rpm's or driving in town. Tried to not look at the trip meters. Looks like the difference is about 1.5 mpg. Washed the car yesterday, cleaning inside today. Snow coming tomorrow so might not drive it for a few days.

Car is running great. Might need latch adjustment on the "cup door". Need to look into this. I did put in the 16 oz. of the Camguard as the oil report with the camguard gave me better Moly #'s. Boron and calcium were also better.
