Service - oil change (Motul 5100 10W40 @ $16.00), new drive belt ($187.08) & slide & weight set ($72.51), misc (15.87), general inspection. Parts total: $291.46 Labour: $289.86 GST: $87.20 Took several months to get parts from Thailand! Importer, Blue Wing Honda needs to get its act together!!

New battery..... hopefully a cure to an intermittent starting problem which has developed in the past couple of days. Had me stranded in a supermarket for several hours, waiting for a tow.... and then started. Only to not start again once I got home.

Replaced ABS sender which had been damaged by a stone ($51.00 for part, self wrenching) New Warrant of Fitness @ VTNZ ($78.50) I am off the road until May 2023, so suspended PCX registration until then. WoF good for one year, thus re-registration will be straightforward.

1 hour and 50 minutes for labour seems rather excessive... Would have taken the mechanic I used in Thailand 15 minutes to change the oil and do a general check up and adjustments. Maybe the mechanic in Hamilton took an hour to do the test ride!
