Blower speed stuck in one medium position. Air would still blow when hvac turned off Motorcraft blower motor resistor was $80 Bought NiLight brand from Amazon. Replaced and tests good.

Low coolant temp, high engine fan. Replaced thermostat. Drained some coolant. Added 2 gallons (1-motorcraft Yellow concentrate/ 1 distilled water). Old coolant came out red cooler. 190* thermostat motorcraft. Thought it was water pump making rattling noise. A/c pump clutch is rattling.
