13 quart ATF+4 fluid exchange, filter and 3 oz of friction modifier. Transmission was experiencing shuddering condition during low RPM, light throttle load situations.

Replaced spark plugs NGK , MAP Sensor, Cam Position Sensor, 2 Rear O2 Sensors, Crank Position Sensor. Car was hesitating under low RPM, high load at 40-50 mph.

Replaced forward, driver's side O2 sensor for 02 sensor code and replaced natural EVAP leak detection pump for 2 EVAP system codes. Had Route 5 Auto complete. Also had to replace oil pressure sensor, again. CEL has remained off since repairs.

Valvoline Synthetic 5W-20 Mobil M1-301A big filter Had some metal on the magnet drain plug from failure in November. First oil change since and was at 3,000 miles on the clock. Next change at 115,000.

Nov 5, 2016 - major catastrophic engine failure. Timing chain tensioner broke, engine lost time, bent all intake valves, intake pushrods and dinged the tips of the pistons. Pistons were sanded down to remove valve impressions, cylinders were cleaned up, heads were milled 0.01 mm, complete with 16 new valve seals and 8 new intake valves. Valve guides were knurled, reset, valves reinstalled, seals installed and original 6.1L valve springs, retainers and keepers all reinstalled. Engine put back together by owner. New intake pushrods, timing assembly, 6.1L tensioner and timing reset. Runs good. Oil change, new coolant.

Note Update 12/14/16: Timing chain tensioner failure occurred on 11/5/16. Engine skipped time. Bent intake valves and pushrods. Major failure. Heads are repairable. Piston skirts were hit by valves. Awaiting inspection of pistons. Vehicle at Metro Dodge, Johnston.
