Isn't an upside down American flag signify something about war but I did a quick google search and all it said it was a sign of distress. Mind explaining more about it and what you mean by it?

So that begs the question of what qualifies as dire distress which I won't go into for the purpose of this thread.

My daughter to me on the day President Clinton was elected, What are we going to do dad? Well daughter, tonight were are going to have steak dinner, you will go to school, play club volleyball, go to church. We will pray that this man will do a good job and lead our country well, because he is president for all Americans and should get our respect until proven otherwise. We, as a family will still be productive and happy. We can not let fear and anger rule our thinking. This worked well then as now.
