200k
I just joined the "200K club" today with my 93 civic. Any other 200K or more cars out there?

not here. i do remember riding with someone when thier car turned over to 200K, then the odometer jammed and broke lol....
i watched my chevette roll over to a whopping 62K the otherday and the truck 142K. |
Just over 225K on my 93 Toyota pickup. Taking a 2000 mile trip with it starting next weekend.

Well I guess the headgaskets on Escorts only last 200K, Wile-E wasn't far over when it popped, Marvin just rolled over 300K Km, so he's coming up 200K miles soon, might have the motor swapped before it makes it though.

The green 99 Saturn has 232,000 miles on it but it came with most of those a few months ago so I don't have much information on it.

my '92 civic is at 249,610, figure it will be a few weeks and I'll be at that quarter million mile mark, my car has it's original engine with 195psi compression, altho it's 3rd timing belt.

I've got two '91 Civic sedans. Bought the first one with 135k on it - now has 265k. Second one I bought a year ago for a winter beater/parts car. (It sheds weight every day in the form of rust!) Runs good with 225k on it. Both average about 41 mpg - 38 mpg in the winter and 44 mpg in the warmer months.
Keep that '93 going. Regards, Bill |
Ryland,
You just reminded me. I need to buy a couple of timing belts! |
lol got me thinking too that i should stock up on chevette timing belts :P sposta be changed every 50-60K but 50K will be like 5 years from now, kinda paint to find GOOD belts these days :P

I have 359,500 on my 1987 Volvo Turbo wagon. I'm planning on replacing it at 400,000. I'm getting a little tired of the car. 21 years it's time for a new daily driver.
