i have a problem with my civic vtec -e.
When engine is a hot, cars acceleration is very bad and When i push slow in to the pedal car not accelerate, but if i push in to the pedal to the end after 2-3 second car accelerated well. expense is 10-11 litre in city. engine Mileage is 150000. coolant temperature sensor working is nice and propellеr is running then water temperature come up to 90с. Repeat! problem show itself when engine is a hot (90c) replaced: spark plugs labda sensor (oxygen) fuel filter checked: cylinder pressure is ok fuel pump pressure is ok timing belt is ok. sorry for my english ;) |
Is the check engine light on?
Have you checked the ignition timing? I would get the compression tested and if that is in spec, I'd remove the catalytic converter and see what condition it looks like inside. The cat can get clogged and your engine will run like you describe. |
Is this a recent problem? or a new car?
I would check your ignition timing, and your cam timing, when I had my timing belt install wrong (one notch out of place) it was really slugish. your cylender compression should be 195psi, 13.44 Bar, and not more then 20psi or just over one bar variation from cylender to cylender. Also, when you changed your spark plugs how did the old ones look? if you take one to a mecanic, or auto parts store they should be able to tell you if you are running trying to burn to much gas. |
The check engine not show me any errors
|
compession is a normal.
catalytic converter does not stand |
have your timing dubble checked, there is a set of arrows on the head that the cam gear lines up with when the crank shaft mark is lined up with the pointer, after you have that done, have them check it with the timing light as well for ignition timing.
|
timing is ok.
The problem proves to be, when the engine is a hot (90c) |
Possibly problem because of the distributor?
|
Yeah, take the cap off the distributor and take a look at it, and also look at the rotor...replace if there is a problem.
|
how i can know is this problem from the distributor?
