I'm a gearhead/engineer/inventor who's passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy. Glad I found this forum! So far most of my mpg efficiency work has been planning (mileage improvements for my 1987 Grand National and 1979 Cutlass). I did, however, almost beat the EPA HWY estimate in the city while driving my 1994 Subaru Legacy Wagon. . .I got 25.9 on a car rated at 21 city. Since my understanding of the OBDI Subaru ECM is that it does not engine brake by shutting the fuel off, I did a lot of coasting in neutral. If I could install an injector cutoff switch I imagine I could do even better than the 25.9. . .

Anybody know how to put my car/mpg info in my profile?

Hit the garage tab and then in the upper left, click on "add garage entry". Once you get your car in the garage, then you can add gaslog entries.
