When you say "windshield wiper delete" what do you mean?
 

I was reading the list of suggested aero mods. Windshield wiper delete is something I'm interested in. However, when you say that, do you mean put them under the hood? From what I've read it's illegal to remove them; they're a safety feature.

Any info on modification kits, if any?

I already use RainX. The rain glides right off. I actually prefer RainX because I can never find good wipers that do the job for very long.

I have both my wipers removed when it is not raining. This is to reduce air drag at highway speeds. When rains, I put at least the drivers back on.

I would like to know... has anyone has come up with a 'quick disconnect' method?

take off the snap mechanism and get a cotter pin or a hitch pin (cant think of the name) and drill a hole thru the wiper arm and shaft. put pin thru and walla attached, pull pin out and lift off arm.\

lots of things are illegal. (stuff hanging from your rear view mirror is illegal)usually stuff like this is only gonna get you in trouble if you get pulled over for somehtign else or you have velchle inspections. but most cops dont care.

Before pulling them off and going down that hassle, take a short piece of yarn to each wiper,,,, a couple per down the length... then see what happens on the highway. You might be surprised to find out that they are not in the slipstream over the car, but rather in a higher pressure area at the case of the windshield... in the latter case the yarn will be pulled into the engine compartment rather. No use removing them then (although sealing the cowling would help overall with this counter flow).

rainex is amazing for beeding water off your windshield when it's raining...I suppose this is a must for people that run without wipers
