Pics of 1930's German streamlined cars.
The site is in German, but has a lot of good pics of 1930's German streamlined cars with aero ideas we could use on our current vehicles.

Great, thanks!
I really want to know what's up with these dorsal fins... https://www.design-classic-cars.de/jaray/audi-01.jpg https://www.design-classic-cars.de/tatra/t87vel.jpg Nature uses them for roll stability... But I'm not quite certain that shape is beneficial in cross wind :/ Perhaps it divides the flow to keep any shedding vortices from mingling near the boundary layer? Just a guess. |
This reminds me of a civic hatch
