Honda N600 sedan 3 cars for $1000
 

I found 3 1972 Honda N600 sedans for sale and I am considering buying them. I have never done a large project but my plans are to keep one of them and part out the other two to make the 1000 back. One of the cars runs, the other is a partial electric conversion (guy says they kept the original block and did something to the rest?), and the third is a parts car. The third one they say is almost complete a few missing pieces such as the front bumper and grille but it does have the engine and drive train but does not run. Also from what they said it sounds like they are all pretty rust free but the electric one has the straightest body.

Is this a good deal? What would you guys suggest? Thanks for any input or advice. :)

3 cars for $1000? And one of them runs? Heck yes that's a good deal.

wow, that was fast! What would you do with the other two and how would you go about selling them? I was a little dissapointed that they weren't the coupes but still a very neat little car.

where are you located? I have a coupe I'm going to sell sometime soon, but it will be more pricey than $1000 (rebuilt engine)

You could either try to part out the other cars on ebay AFTER you have a running car, or try to sell them as parts cars on ebay/etc.

Either way, I think you can get most of your money back, especially with a clean shell.

I am in northern Colorado. I was thinking ebay too. I saw an older auction that ended for $910.00 and that thing looked like junk with a ton of pieces missing.

I actually bought my n600 in Colorado Springs. Made the long drive all by myself.

The z600 I'm going tosell has a rebuilt engine in it, but it hasn't been fired up in 7 years. I'm going to get it running and sell it, probably for around $2000-$2500. If you're interested keep it in mind. Rebuilt engines themselves usually go for around $2000-$3000. The body of this z600 is virtually rust free and the paint is in pretty good shape. I just need to slap some new shocks on it, get the engien going, and then it'll be ready to sell.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. I sunk $1250 into my initail investment in three N600's...and none of them run.

I sunk $1400 into one n600 that ran... and I got a good deal too.

I'd be curious to know about the partial electric conversion. What did they do? What parts are in it?

Yeah, I could use a source of cheap parts for my conversion, if the parts are the right kind!
