new vehicle log keeps showing missed fuelup
I replaced my car about 2 months ago. I started a new vehicle (+ New Vehicle) and started logging. EVERY fuelup generates the message "Missed Fuel up? Ignore" and a couple other options.
With my old car this only occurred if I entered an odo reading that was way above the expected, based on mpg history. With the new car, every one does this, even though I now have about 10 entries in this log. I hit "Ignore" and the gives me the current fuel economy message, so it's working ok, but I wonder why I keep getting this message...? Thanks, Pat |
It is always trip mileages that seem to give issues. I use odometer readings and never have any problems.

I see. I'll be using odometer readings from now on. Thanks!

Why are you responding to posts from a year and a half ago? |
Posting to this thread because it's an issue I've been having ever since adding a second vehicle to Fuelly back in late 2023. Missed fuel-up warnings despite not missing fuel-ups.
I use the odometer reading on the vehicle and Fuelly gives me heck over it. If I click 'Ignore' or whatever then it gives me the appropriate fuel mileage for that last amount of fuel used. Has anyone found a fix for the "Missed fuel up" errors> |
