Adaptive Memory Reset on 2016 6.7 Powerstroke
Question for all of you out there on Adaptive Memory.
Is it advisable to do a reset on a 2016 6.7 Powerstroke? Iam now the 2ed owner, it seems the truck has had a lot of idling time (about 50% of its life) according to the inboard computer, Im getting crappy mileage and am wondering if a re-set would be advisable. Ive had a couple of check engine lights with Ford repairs to about $1800 (It does run better with the repairs), just hesitant that I will get another check engine flash and a $$ amount if I do this Adaptive Memory reset. Any of you drivers have suggestions Please. Thanks. |
You might consider a Scanguage for your truck. With it you can diagnose check engine lights, and you may even be able to do a reset. I would call them just to make sure it will work for your truck. It is an incredible tool that all cars should have, and install is a breeze.

Thanks for that, I will look into this, it does look like a good system monitor.
Thanks |
