Elon Musk Bought a Used Tunnel Boring Machine
According to this YouTube report, there's a glut of used tunnel boring machines for sale, due to China having bought so many. Musk scored a used $15m German boring machine for $1.5m.
Also, EVs are now 37% of all new car sales in Norway. The country is aiming for 100% EVs by 2025. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeNTs9_rSPg |
Musk does want to experiment with a hyperloop; think vacuum system like banks use at drive up tellers, but big enough to move people and cargo.
Some projects just have the tunnel borer go make its own tomb onsite. I didn't think there was any used ones available. |
Perhaps it's just US$1.5m, because YOU have to remove the tunnel borer.

Good score for Musk.
That's a good goal for Norway, with their good governance this should be achievable. |

Here is a more serious video for you brought to you by Elon. The new Tesla S P100D puts down 588hp and 920 lb-ft on the dyno:

Hyperloop is coming to Dubai. Would reduce the 140 km commute between Dubai and Abu Dhabi to just 12 minutes, which is quite the difference from a 1.5 hour drive between them. It's good to achieve big things without excessive red tape and bureaucracy in the way, as is the case here in the States.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fu-6IDp3Fo Regarding Teslas selling like crazy in Norway, I think many know this already, but Norway has a 100% tax and such on new cars that run on dyno juice. Electrics are much cheaper in comparison. |
