Hydrogen Injection forum created
Considering the popular nature of Hydrogen Injection, and that there are a few people on this forum interested in making their own unit, the Hydrogen Injection forum was created. I have moved a few topics over to that forum from the General Fuel Economy forum.
I did this in hopes that the discussion will continue and grow. I would like to avoid having all discussion be in one thread, so hopefully the creation of the new forum will facilitate this. |

Its documented that small amounts of hydrogen
enhance combustion, increase octane, and have the potential to increase fuel economy. This is agreed. The question remains as to how to produce the hydrogen. The link I posted was from a webpage about an on board plasma reformer that converted gasoline to hydrogen. Not sure of its energy requirement. As far as electrolysis of water goes, Ive yet to see actual numbers concerning increased drag induced by alternator load versus combustion enhancment of hydrogen produced, but I have seen a paper floating around the net on increasing the efficiency of current alternator designs that allowed for more electrical production with less generated heat and drag. |

How much extra load on the altenator cost mpg???? trying to figure this out. My HHO draws 20 amps. I''m considering a diffent way to power this, but I'd like to see if its worth it???
