Can anyone help identify these parts?
So this is my first engine swap. I'm thrilled as all can be. However, since i've never done this ebfore, i want to make sure I'm doing it right. So I've posted a few pictures with letters next to parts I don't quite know. Fill in the blanks if you can.
BTW, this engine is a JDM d15b Vtec-e engine. https://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=2314PN8lX&i=635464 https://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=2314PN8lX&i=635465 Each one of these is a sensor or wire of some sort, except for C, which is a tube that I don't know where it goes. I guess that could be the coolant line, but if it is, what is the tube under F? D is an interesting one. It had two wires that go to the plug (green and black) and then four grounds that attach to the block. This might be the termostat housing, but it doesn't resemble the one I've seen from the d15b2, so it's all greek (or in this case, it's all Japanese) to me. Is H the EGR? Is I the knock sensor? Please help as I'd like to prepare for my swap with as much ease as possible. |

B: coolent gauge sending unit C: one for the heater suply i think D: ECT coolent temp sensor? A or D E. EGR lift sensor F: vtec solonid? G: oil presure for vtec? H: EACV or idle control motor I: IAT intake air temp. aslo that black thing on the other side of the TB shaft is the TPS. |

(this is what someone on another website said these were:) Not too sure about D, E, F, and G. C looks to me like just a coolant line. B is your coolant temp wire for your gauge cluster. A is the coolant temperature sensor for the ECU. H is your IACV or (idle air control valve) plug. I is your Intake Air Temp Sensor or IATS --- I = Intake air vale H= eletronic air control valve B , and A look like coolant temp sensors. I know A is for sure D = Radiator fan switch |

Honda-Tech is funny cuz if I look around there for gas mileage stuff and find it I get so excited like it is a jewel, but here it's like heaven but you dunno where to start. I'm trying to move away from h-t though to get this site solid enough it can concentrate on gas crap but these answers can still be had. Hell, I need to learn this stuff if I plan to buy one of those damn engines myself. Haha.

i know this isn't the place, but that engine is really clean (minus the broken tps, of course.) i hope you clean up your engine compartment and tranny to match.
