who knows, those 2 could even clean medicare/caid? |
I'm not saying it was easy.
1900/mo minus 750 rent 80 medical($40 every 2 weeks) 100 cable 170 insurance(both cars) 120 phone ~200 gas for both cars 50 into the savings Left about 500 for food and entertainment for 4 weeks. |
That's "single" rate med insurance.
Look up family rate and get back to us. |
My medical is free now so I'll leave the looking up to the people listed in statistics as not being able to afford health insurance that roll on 24's to work.
That was family btw. It was $30 every two weeks for one, $40 for two, and $50 for 2+. |
Try figuring insurance costs for single parent families. They make up 26.6% of the US population, or about 80 million people, living in poverty. Insurance costs for healthy college-age adults are one thing. Health insurance costs for 50 year olds with families are an entirely different animal.

May you and your next gf STAY healthy all your days, and you don't find out what health care expenses really are! |

adults milking the system should be offered it as well, but made to pay in on it. if jobs are lost and temporarily can't be found, put them to work in govt public works like inmate trustees programs. saving on tax payer supported wages would be a side benefit. but just like sooooo many issues, it really reverts back to personal responsability. it is not the fault of the rest of us that dead beat dads exist and women who choose to breed w/ multiple men. welfare and medicare/caid need to be reformed, PERIOD. then we could focus on the rest of healthcare, not its quality or provider, but its costs. |
On my 40th birth day Kaiser raised my rate from $225 to $477 a month for no other reason than my birthday. I have been without health insurance for 5 years now. I use Minute Clinic at the Wallgreens and its $65 a visit, they have helped tremendously with things like the flu. Now at 45, I can feel my age, so as preventative maintenance I just got offered health insurance from Blue Cross for $225 a month. If Kaiser would not have been greedy they would have made $13,500 over the last 5 years. While under Kaiser for 40 years, I only broke my foot, other than that, I was a source of their cash flow, now their loss.

Insurance companies aren't good at evaluating individual histories...only aggregate. That works out great for people with expensive histories but my auto insurance is way too expensive for how much I cost.
