i've researched insurance rates on accords, and was shocked @ how high they are. so, some members may throw rocks, but i think i'd like to go w/ a chevy impala or similar late model GM V6.

the 3.4 liter gives up 2mpg in the city to the 4 cyl accord, but takes 2 right back on the hwy(21/32 vs 23/30). i've had good luck w/ the GM fwd vehicles w/ V6s. i believe them to be very reliable and would rival toyota and honda if it weren't for their intake gasket debacle.

What part of the insurance was expensive? Liability, collision, or comprehensive?

lol just have liability and tell whoever gets the car if u wreck it u get to buy the next one.
