Well I made a 60 mile round trip yesterday uneventfully but on my way to work today it stalled, only took about 90 seconds to get it re-started and my drive home was fine.
Seems like it is stalling right when it gets to it's normal operating temp and when I'm at low throttle or a glide. Have stoped EOC since I'm scared it just won't start afterwords and I've lost about 0.8 mpg. I wouldn't have to finance the car as I have the cash for a new car but I'd still like to get the most out of what I already have. With the climate controle thing I even riped out the controler and it keeps going. Least it's bearable with the fuse for the climate fan pulled. My driving is 10% City, 70% backroads with 40-55mph limits, 20% highway and almost never in rush hour. |
