kida need a craptastic car to learn on cuz more often than not thier gonna wreck.
i cant stand parents who buy thier 16 year old a brand new car (well what id consider brand new less than 5 years old) then get all shocked and pissed they wrecked it.... |
reduced: $1900

Like others have said, let the kid learn in the Prizm. Cheaper than buying another car, and any kid worth their salt can figure out a manual transmission. In the 1920s and '30s, kids learned how to drive, and there weren't any automatics around at all!
As far as not having the patience to teach them on a 5-speed, a little Prozac, or a shot or two of Old FedCal will help that...:) |
It's tough to compare to the 1920s and 1930s...a lot has changed. There's much more traffic, much less patience, everybody drives much faster, and there's much more to pay attention to on the road.
That all said, when I was 16 I wished I could have learned on a manual transmission, and at my current age I'm glad I finally have a manual car. |

Strong hate on the lady folks.
Women can do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want... (most will tell you that).... just as long as she smells nice, kisses well, and can cook as well or better than I can. |
