two years since fuelly + aCar. this is the longest wait for a joint software project that i've ever heard of. have been using aCar for 4 years, decently satisfied... but just read about the "new" features of forthcoming v5 (announced 2 years ago) and i'm interested in these features... signed up for beta, but even beta seems like its "coming soon". i have the paid version of aCar.

any projection of availability?

The beta will likely start testing in early 2017. I'm waiting for what we hope is the final alpha version, should be ready any day. If that tests well, then we'll be ready to move towards a beta release.

Can I get in as a beta tester? I've used aCar since 2010 but gave it up for the ease of Fuelly a few years ago. I just saw the companies had been merged so I put aCar back on my phone. Looking forward to the record keeping of aCar with being able to send a text for fillups with Fuelly.

We should be putting out a call for volunteers in the near future. We will definitely post on the forums and I'll be contacting those that express interest.
