I remember The RoadWarrior..To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time..the world was powered by the black fuel & the desert sprouted great cities..Gone now, swept away..two mighty warrior tribes went to war & touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing..thundering machines sputtered & stopped..Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice

Here is one of my all-time favorite stores...haven't visited their new location yet, but spent many fun hours (and $100s) in their old store...
http://candhsurplus.com/

Another great place (especially for vintage electronics): http://www.tubesandmore.com/

Not a whole lot automotive either place (although C & H had a whole bunch of speedometers once, looked to be late '50s Studebaker I think...)

just bought some new boots here again. found a $10 off coupon in addition to their already best price anywhere. code "topten" yields your $10 credit. BTW, for you safety toe guys like me, i love the composite toe wolverines!

Re: List of good suppliers

www.shoes.com has a 15% off coupon. i've been itching to try a pair of those skechers' shape ups. $100+ is a bit much, but certain colors are marked down. w/ the mark down and coupon, they can be had for $84.99(no tax, free shipping).
