How many people have a HAI/WAI?

I was just wondering how many people have a Hot/Warm Air Intake? Also please list if you have seen any improvement in FE from it. Also what temps are you seeing from your Intake Air Temp sensor?I have a HAI and i see temps around 150* all the time and i have seen some improvement from it.

Not too long ago I started a thread to collect exactly that data but not very many people posted any data in it. Still, there's some.

I don't really have a HAI on my truck, its more a WAI. I blocked off the cool air intake, and forced it to take air from the engine bay instead of outside. My intake air temps run about 30F - 40F over ambient. I used to have much warmer in conjunction with a grill block, but the engine was getting too warm at times. My plan was to run some aluminum pipe over to the exhaust manifold, and take air from there, but that never materialized. Mileage gains were marginal, but then again we were talking about a 5.7 liter V-8. My best gains were in city driving though. Didn't make much difference with highway driving.

I have a WAI, but I still haven't got any consistent results concerning FE.
