I've been a little lazy about it, but I've use this connected to my cigarette lighter so I'd feel better about cutting my car off at lights. I run fans with it too. I have one that is mounted to the truck lid toward the hole were the trunk key was. It help when I go into a store, getting some of the hot air out while parked.
