Pretty scary when he went around that street corner too fast in the beginning and the front left wheel came off the ground!

That was SO funny. I want one, but I wouldnt really feel safe driving it many places. The thing is lower than motorcyles even... I don't know how anyone would see you coming down the road.

Awesome clip!

I'd like to see a company make a modern version. Could buy 150cc 4 stroke forced air cooled CV drive Chinese scooter engines and put them in a fiberglass shell. Might get 45 mph and 90 mpg or more.

It wouldn't be difficult to capture the cooling air after it was forced over the cylinder and duct it into the cabin.

^^^ That makes me think of the movie "Mr. Mom" and the part when woman says "You fed Chili to a baby?!?!"

My kids are just over 2 and about negative 4 months, lol.

Yeah, but didn't you see everyone looking at him? It may be lower that a motorcycle, but it demands much more attention from everyone around it I ride my bike on the road - there's even less visible area ~17 per million cyclists die per year compared to about 140 per million car drivers (both in the US). BUT, about 1 in 20 people on bikes are injured per year (mind you that ~60% injuries are falls).

My digressing point is - visible size seems to be a common metric to compare with safety. Yet, pedestrians are very good at finding dollar bills (even quarters) despite the fact that, on average, a human is 93 times larger (by surface area)

Yeah really - but that picture in this thread with the two wheels in back... Even more likely to do that o.0 Making the thing a few inches wider and a few inches longer would fix that though -- he is a really tall person, so his higher cG wasn't helping
