Would a VX engine d15z fit into a 94+ integra?

Hi, I'm new to the website. I'm still young but I'm very interested in fuel economy cars. I was just wondering if I am able to put a d15z into an 94+ INtegra? I would highly appreciated if anyone out there would be able to give me some tips on this. Thank you.

thats true...but would it be possible to put a d15z into other civic cars for example 92-95 coupes or 96-00 coupes? I heard that it's difficult to do a VX engine/tranny swamp into a non-civic vx model

It can be done. search D series swap on team-integra.net.

The swap is much easier on the 92-95 civics cause they already have a D series in them and they are OBD1

d15z1 94 teg

I just completed this swap in my gs-R dc2. You need a p07-A00 ecu, vx motor, with wiring harness and 5 wire o2, extra ecu pins and wire, egr control solenoid. Everything will go together real easy. except for running a couple of wires from the ecu to the engine harness and 02 wires, and a wire from the ecu to the egr control solenoid and then to a sensor ground on the driver side of the car. btw no check engine lights.

(2500lbs. Rear disc, bigger front calipers, abs, sunroof, power steering, leather) vs. (2100lbs. none of that)

I can't tell you how much I'm saving in gas yet just going through my 1st 10gal.

If you're doing a d15z1 swap you should swap the trans as well, or try to get a CRX HF trans. It won't be as sporty as it was before but your MPG will jump significantly.

A hydro to cable swap can be done and it isnt as complicated as the engine swap.
