It hasn't gotten consistently cold here yet so I've been holding off on some stuff. Plus there's an argument for waiting for the FETC to start so any FE improvements benefit the team.

My job has been outsourced and I'm laid off as of Saturday but that at least means I'll have more time to tinker with mods and stuff for a while. So "things" may start happening to the Cabrio soon.

I check tires every couple of weeks and keep 'em hard, so no real changes for Winter there. I'll be blocking off more of the grille soon, and plan to experiment with HAI stuff too. I also want to look into a block heater.

An oil change is past due; been trying to wait as far into colder temperatures as I can (we had a mid-70s day this week!) because I want to try switching to a lighter weight oil for Winter (a new thing for me).

Not FE-related, but: That's a great idea about the blanket and snacks, VetteOwner. As a rule the weather doesn't get extreme enough here for that to be a consideration, but I think I'll have to find a spot in the trunk where I can jam in a blanket or sleeping bag and some emergency rations. Already have a first aid kit back there (along with a 12V air pump, jumper cables, etc.) but being in the Boy Scouts warped me for life.

Rick
