What's you household FE?
The last poll had some interesting info. So I'll put another one out there. What is the average combine FE of the cars in your household?

Civic @ 55mpg lately
Odyssey @ 21mpg
simple average = 38 mpg
weighted average (gal / mile) = 30 mpg (more accurate)
voted 30+ for both cases

Accord 2.3-5M @ 25 MPG
SantaFe 3.3-5A @ 21 MPG
The joys of short cold drives...
The "house's" FE is great!
It's under 5 BTU per Hour per Square Foot per Heating Degree Day

Wow 31.3 MPG!
I thought with two SUVs, other than my car, it would be terrible!
99ish Explorer 19 MPG
97 Tracker 4dr 29 MPG
95 Civic 46 MPG

oops, I read it wrong and voted for combined FE, not average.
50+ for combined
Thrifty McGassaver = ~50
2000 Protegé = 25
50 + 25 = 75mpg
Averaged = 37.5mpg

zpiloto -
(42.17 + 27.75) / 2
= 69.92 / 2
= 34.96
=> 35 MPG!!!!
If I took into account the total miles driven of our cars, the MPG would be even higher because my 42 MPG is the bigger chunk of miles!
Another nice thread,
