What happened to COZX2?

I was looking through the Top 10 list after adding my latest tank and I don't see the entry for COZX2 anymore. Did he leave the site? I hope not.

I believe you are correct. His last fill was 08/12/07.

I recieved a PM from COZX2 back on 10/03/07 in regards to my failed injector shut off wiring and he had stated that he made a deal with a NASCAR race team to be on-call for the 10 race Points Chase. And that it didn't leave alot of extra time for anything else.

I PM'd him back the next day, but haven't heard back from him since. Looking at his 'activity log...he is around. He was on the site this morning and posted in a few threads yesterday. I think he is just busy with the everyday hustle and bustle.

Hi COZX2...isn't it nice to be missed?

Yeah, he posted that somewhere on GasSavers, but I can't find the thread/post. He basically said that it would be a big time soak, so he wouldn't have much time to post. IIRC, he also said that he had his ZX2 in pieces for one of his new mods, so he may not even be driving it right now.

Hello -

Ok, I found it. Here's CO ZX2's post :

Hello, CO ZX2!
We've noticed that you've not been active on GasSavers for quite some time now, . . .
Didn't think I had disappeared for that long. I last posted on GasSavers 9/02/07, twenty days ago. For some time I have had difficulty staying signed in even after selecting 'Remember me'. Therefore I have browsed GasSavers briefly a number of times recently without signing in.

I have had my car apart for a while (engine and transmission) and can't take enough time right now to get it back together. I have made a commitment to a race team owner that will take most of my time and efforts for the next 8 weeks. Didn't fully realize how involved this could be when I agreed to help out 3 weeks ago. But I will fulfill the obligations I made to the best of my abilities. However, the offer of a permanent full-time position will probably be more than I care to deal with. I will decide on that within the next two weeks.
