What would be perfect is the HUD for ILS approaches on aircraft -- as I understand it, it's basically a clear overlay on the "windshield" that acts like a LCD to line up approaches using animated boxes and data, such as wind-speed/direction, airspeed, altitude, etc. -- but can still be transparent. It has to cost a fortune, though.
