VX year to year differences

Does any one know the differences between the VXs from year to year? The fueleconomy.gov website lists a '92 at 48/55 (old EPA rating) and a '94 at 47/56. Now I know it isn't much, but did anything change at all through the years?

Thanks in advance.

Tires.

Some auto makers nudge their EPA mileage numbers up slightly by using low rolling resistance tires on a new car. The 92 VX had Dunlop all season SP20's on it. I don't know if the later models used the Dunlop's also. If the 92 VX had been fitted with Bridgestone RE92 Potenzas when new, the EPA rating would have been higher still.

I thought about buying the best LRR tires for my VX but could not justify the increased cost to get a few more mpgs.

Yeah, I honestly didn't know any real difference b/t the different VXs other than the CA model.

Then again, I have a 95 VX, a replacement 95 motor, and my friend has a 95...so I guess I'm not an expert on the differences b/t years.

the 92's had just driver side airbags, the 94 and 95 had driver and passenger. Might add a few pounds.

The 92's all had an 11.9 gallon tank, some 93 still had a 11.9 gallon tank, but by 94-95 all VXs had the 10.9gal tank.

The 92-93 P07 ECUs were the first revision (A00), the 94-95s were revision 2 (A01)

And as stated before, the 92-93s only had the drivers' side airbag, while the 94-95 had both the drivers' and passengers' airbag.

Those are the actual production differences between the years that I know of.
