1) 29.97k ohms
2) Its an NTK brand, but I don't recall where I got it, I think through a seller on ebay, not an auction, for around $120 if I recall correctly.

^^^Not that I'm aware of. you could get some 1% tolerance resistors though and finagle them into the OEM connector. Or just use a potentiometer and set it so that you can feel lean burn kick in, but not "slam-your-head-into-the-steering-wheel" hard.

i tried a walker in my vx and it ran really badly, nearly undrivealbe, the only way i could get it to smooth out was to bring up rpms or put it under load. i put the old worn out stock one back in and it runs fine, albeit not the mpg i want, i hover around 40 which is why i tried the walker.

June 11, 2009: EDIT: Bummer, The $99 o2 sensors are no longer available, they now have NTK-NGK @ $190, so the deal is gone ;( .

In the end I located a replacement L1H1 for $99 shipped that performs perfectly. The sensor is visually identical to the l1h1 oem Honda that was on my VX and is stamped made in Japan with an internal resistor. I ordered it from AutopartsDirectToYou.com here: http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Aut...t=5&scat=20363 and is Item 13208452 Honda Civic o2 Sensor

No CEL, plug and play, visually identical including internal resistor, jumped my mileage from 40.5 to near 45MPG and smoothed out the engine stumble at 1850RPM. I am freakin satisfied with this purchase.

fwiw, the sensor matches the readings posted in nowhhs post #11 above for the NTK brand.
