hey guys!! it is miles per dollar that is important
math is not really my thing ...BUT ..please check my figurin' ... if i buy 10 gallons of E85 @ 2.50 per, an put in 1 diesel for 3.10 the cost per gallon is 2.55 ..and i get 20 mpg so it costs 12.75 cents per mile to drive ....
on "regular" gas i get 17 mpg at $3.10 so i get a cost of 18.23 cents per mile......or 5 cents per mile MORE COST !!
and FYI ....it is correct that cars won't run on diesel... only thing is .. my uncle figured a way to run a gasoline engine in his automobile on straight diesel some 65 years ago!!
(his method turned the diesel into VAPOR before it went into the engine)
dddon (i'm 3D in my thinkin' too)
