I have one that was made in Singapore and sold thru JCWhitney that is about 20 yrs old...will put it in my wagon soon to see if it still works...for carbed engines.

Why not use Scangauge instead?
It can display MPG, Voltage, RPM, Speed, and also able
to scan and clear fault codes. Costs about USD$150 on ebay.

The ones he is retrofitting can be had on ebay for less than $50 in most cases. For those worried about $ and only want instant mpg feedback this 4 wire solution may be an alternative. There are many DIY people on this site.

I sent him one requesting additional info about JIMS and about when "his"would be released, he has not responded. I was going to dive in when he contacts me back.

I assume that the would be calibration issues with a meter that came out of a car with a different tire/final drive setup. ???
