Sure. With Teresa (motorcycle, 2004, 650cc, 81500km by me):
Fuel: 31%
Maintenance: 32.2%
Insurance, tax, inspection: 5.1%
Share of purchase price: 31.2%
With the YARDIS (small car, 1999, 1.0l, 2800km by me):
Fuel: 8.15%
Maintenance: 10.29%
Insurance, tax, inspection: 5.04%
Share of purchase price: 76.52%
Of course the YARDIS is not in the stage I could draw any conclusion. She's quite new to me, and got new oil and tires after the purchase. And hadn't got any (2-yearly) inspections yet.
With Teresa I have more than 4 years of experience, and a distance that provides ample data about running costs.
I deliberately don't calculate 'loss of value', I consider myself a final user, so I just divide the (used) purchase price with the distance. Therefore the more I drive the less this cost gets.
