Throttle Lock Cruise Control

I'm dying to have CC in my 1990 Honda Civic. I don't feel like shelling out the money for a $200+ Rostra Kit that may not work all that great and may also kill some fuel efficiency.

Searching the forums, I came across Draco's Hand Throttle Thread http://www.gassavers.org/showthread....=throttle+lock

Though the price is right a lot of people were concerned about the safety of the throttle being locked in that position in the event of an unfortunate accident.

Well is this a possible solution?

Its an brain that electrically locks an additional throttle cable but will still disengage when the brake it hit (assuming you wired it to the brake sensor correctly). Reading the description it seems like it's exactly what I want but my main concern is I can't find any other information on the company or this unit on the web and this dealer is located in the UK.

Well anybody have any thoughts or info on the unit or "like-units?"
