It ALWAYS does that to me. I'll fill up and then it drops like insane, or I'll wait a day to late and it'll jump 30cents over night. Its 22cents cheaper now than the last time I filled acouple days ago.
Telco, call me nuts, but I bet you wouldnt see a drop in FE if you did load a Hummer up with cement. My father owns a H2 SUT and always gets 10.5 - 10.7. We drove from Maryland to Flordia and back the other week, pulling a 3000lb 18' long boat, 4 people, and probably 100-200 pounds of luggage. It stayed 10.6 nearly the entire time, but dropped to 10.5 on the way back in the mountains.
And yes, I remember being pissed when gas hit 2bucks.
