I'm looking forward to more crazy tanks with the SuperMID
Absolutely amazing!

Just be aware that when I first got a MPG instant readout device, the first amazing fill with it was extremely hard to reproduce.

We have been waiting for the cycle to start. I thought Tre would post our roster on this thread but maybe that is not necessary. Anyway here it is.

Trebuchet03 - has a sedan
OdieTurbo - has an automatic | Above Mason Dixon
Bill in Houston
rvanengen
usedgeo - above M-D line

% improvement is going to be a lot harder for me now. I should have joined up a couple months ago . Sustaining may be a challenge.

Short fill.

Gasmisers5 may need this short fill today. Would not normally have driven this much on a weekend but have 2 neighbors in the hospital, both are OK and luckily in the same place on the edge of town.

5/20/07 CO ZX2: 316.1 miles, 3.23 gallons, 97.86 mpg.

Had 100.2 @ 285 miles then rain for the last 41 miles, last 7 of that in mud.

Had alternator off whole tank. Disconnected knock sensor to gain ignition timing. Not a big deal at this altitude.

FormulaTwo and landspeed have recent entries in gaslogs.

omg and jwxr7 fairly recent entries.

Go GasMisers5.

97.86mpg Congratulations CO ZX2

I'm just hoping that my fill was accurate (it should be - even if I underfilled by a litre, it would still be my best ever tank).

I have 800 miles of driving to be done later this week - and with the SuperMID (uncalibrated because I will use this journey to do the fine calibration), I aim to get a very good fuel economy (which will also be for the next cycle of the competition)!

I didn't use enough fuel to merit a new fill before the end of this cycle. It's good though because gas has been about $3.50/ gal for regular for a while now .

I just realized it's Monday! Long weekend here - feels like Sunday I'll scour the gaslogs and poste the team results this evening. I used the car once in the last 2 weeks, so I don't have another fill to report.

I'm bowing out of the competition and diamondlarry is going to take over as team Slow Burn's captain. I believe DAX is taking my place starting this week.
