Kickflipjr- Fill us in. Did you get a new car?
Yeah, my mom gave me her old car (95 saturn wagon, SW2) since she was getting a new car . I am going to start driving it tomorrow . Its an automatic, so it will be hard to hypermile (but that didn't stop me on my previous Saturn).

Are you going to sell the Protege? It's pretty sweet that your mom gave SW2 to you.

Actually, I am probably going to donate it to Salvation army or similar type organization. My mom said I could have her car as long I donate my car to some type of charitable organization. I think that that is a nice thing to do anyways.

Welcome back to world of Automatics! It's a little tougher to hypermile, but not impossible. With the Saturn auto, I believe that EOC-ing doesn't damage the transmission since they're designed to be towed by RV's, etc.

Donating the Protege is a good gesture to humanity

Best FE...
