top off

Due to the weather turing cold, windy and wet I filled yesterday to preserve what I thought was a decent tank......and it was!!!

From memory, will double check later.....

270.2 miles / 6.15 gals = 43.93 mpg

Pretty certain that is a best EVER for the car.

Oh, we are up to 3.4999 a gallon, premium. Good thing it was not 3.50 or I would have not been able to buy it.

Well, I was thinking of filling up sometime on the weekend so I'll have an April fill in my gaslog... Sorry!

But if I'm not mistaken, your 64.7 is the best MPG seen in any of the Blackfly's Suzukiclone "competitors". CoyoteX recently had a 70ish tank in his XFi, but in his gaslog entry comments, he says he's not confident it was an accurate fill.

The number of "personal bests" lately is pretty amazing. Not sure if it's relatively new members coming into their first stretch of FE-friendly weather, or if the competition has just elevated everyone's game.

Probably a little of each, depending on the driver. Nice going with this idea, Z!

It pretty incredible the tanks folks are putting together. This time last year using the NEW EPA numbers I was in the top 5 with a % EPA of 81.8 That will barely make top ten now and people have not peaked yet. I'll have to keep watching and see what month everyone hits the peak. I thing we still have a ways to go.

Go Team OB!

Not so great today
354.6 miles
13.957 gals
25.40 mpg

A lot of the miles were at 60-65mph with the air conditioning on, so that may have hurt me.

Another fill today: 217.2 miles driven, 3.243 gallons used = 66.97 MPG(US). I'm not sure if I can keep numbers like that up!
