some things i learned

About my Mazda. I could only get 12.5 gallons into it when it was out of gas. Put in 1 measured gallon and went 56.1 miles before it went dry again. I plan now to make it more aero efficient and see what the difference is when i do this test again. My most efficient eoc speed is 40 to 30 mph. Did flat road test today and went 3 tenths of a mile, 30 to 20 also 3 tenths. 65 to 55 2 tenths, 60 to 50, 55 to 45 and 50 to 40 all 2 tenths. Went east to west, then west to east for each speed. Almost no side or head wind. I think 50 combined will be as good as i can get out of it for every day driving. Long trip then maybe above 50.
