Silver tip spark plugs

I did a search, and was surprised to not get any results.
I am getting silver tipped spark plugs to see if they burn a lean mixture better than conventional.
I was running very lean, and backing off when it started to lose power. My AFR gauge stops at 18:1. When it's cold, my car idles really badly, so I'll see if the silver tipped plugs help.
