Service Manual

Today I bought a 2003 Civic Hybrid with 261000 miles on it. I plan on doing a engine overhaul. Does anyone know of a website that has free service manuals? I had gotten one for my 1997 HX, and it was a full blown service manual. Not some cheap Chilton or Hayes manual. I just cant seem to find one for my hybrid.

The 80 mile trip yielded 61 mpg on the mpg gauge. With some stop and go, and top speed of 60 mph. This is with bad IMA batteries.

Re: Service Manual

With mileage like that, does it really need a rebuild? Or is it leaking/burning oil?

Re: Service Manual

It is always nice to have a complete manual for your car. No I don't plan rebuilding at this point.

Re: Service Manual

There used to be some PDF sources over on Honda-Tech, but haven't looked lately.

Also, what mpg are you getting manually crunching the numbers? For me, those trip computers always fudge a little towards the 'hopeful' side...

Re: Service Manual

My numbers show I am getting between 58 and 65 mpg. The gauge is off between 4 and 8 mpg. I am disappointed with the gauge. A factory gauge should be exact.
