people that race crx's put in the half size crx-hf radiator to save weight, and sometimes give room for turbos, and I've heard clame that both while racing, and normal street driving people who have those radiators don't have problems with over heating as long as the radiator is in good shape.
my '83 civic cvcc, my '85 crx hf, and my civic vx all have radiators with about the same frontal area, what would be called half size, I replaced the crx-hf radiator after hiting a pole, and the people at Napa were very curuse as to what it was for as it was around 15" x 17" or so, I think the HF radiator was about $90 from the parts store, and I think that the dx uses the same front suport beam, so the bolt holes should already be there, just move the bracket over.
