Pumping air to gasoline

What about we pump some air by the help of an aquarium air stone to gas tank so that more air and thus more oxygen is saturated in gasoline ?

All that talk about adding Acetone to gas, got me looking for a way to add oxygen to gas, since oxygen is usually the limiting reagent. There is an additive used to clean up the way gas burns, however it does something weird like adding to much Magnesium to the air, which our bodies can't remove without a hammer and chisel, so we get dementia etc. http://www.epa.gov/otaq/rfg.htm#Fact They actually LIMIT the amount of this that can be added to gas, to something like a 1/32 gram per gallon. Which is a lot of Oxygen as a gas. Here's the link to Oxygenated fuels http://www.epa.gov/otaq/oxygenate.htm MTBE. I suppose that since the EPA has to set country wide standards, that a person living in a low pollution area could probably add more of this to thier fuel, without putting the community as a whole at risk. Since this is little more than liquid oxygen, it would be a whole lot safer than all of those tubes and wires! Starter motor bushing sparks + hood full of oxygen/hydrogen = Aero Space Program.

You are right about the safety issue.

However don't you think oxygen chemically bonded in gasoline is different from oxygen saturated in gasoline ?
